And just like that, it’s already September! Thank you to Lynda and Jake for hosting a wonderful End of Summer Garden Party. It was a lovely afternoon spent with Rotarians in a beautiful backyard! Hopefully we can reunite in person again soon with the rest of our members!

Environmental Monthly Challenge
We have Monthly Club Environmental Challenges! For the month of September, your goal will be to Eliminate the use of the single use plastics (specifically: bottled water, plastic cutlery, plastic straws, plastic cups and retail plastic bags).

Mentorship Program
We are in the process of seeking our mentors and mentees for this year's mentorship program between Rotarians and young adults in the community.
Last year our pilot project turned out to be a great success! We were able to match six mentees to mentors and the goal for this year is to have twelve of more! This program will be completely virtual this year. For more information on the program, check out:

Service
Art for Aid Project 
Rotary Club of Oakville and the Rotary Club of Oakville Trafalgar are looking for new and used art and craft supplies, books and boardgames to send to elementary schools in remote Northern Indigenous communities to promote Art for Aid Projects. Visit ArtforAid.ca.

Telling Tales Virtual Festival

Mississauga Cluster Meeting - All Rotarians - Tuesday, Sept 22 7:00pm
All Rotarians/Rotaractors are invited and encouraged to join in. The Mississauga Rotary Clubs are having a cluster meeting on Tuesday, Sept 22 7:00 pm with Past Rotary International President Wilfred Wilkinson, last Canadian RI President, 2007-2008. He will be put his 58 years of Rotary into a 30-minute presentation and the full meeting will be approximately 75 minutes with the opportunity to meet with other Mississauga Rotarians through breakout rooms.
